Stories of Life Change
"God is truly at the heart of Life Change Church. Thanks to many loving people I have began to read the word, pray more, and really grow in a relationship with Christ. We are better together is right! Pastor Ron has guided me to scripture and always has a great God-centered message every week! I am so thankful for his words. My e-Group has been a blessing. In our second session some elders laid hands and prayed on me. For the first time in my life I felt loved. I used to always pray alone or with one other person. Prayer in a group is so moving! In one session we all stood together and held hands thanking our Savior for all that he is and praying for one another. This is just one of that many reasons I am so thankful for our group. Life Change Church, you have been an inspiration to my heart and my journey with Christ. Thank you Father for Life Change Church!"-A.C.
"I am so blessed to be a part of Life Change. I have been going to different churches since I was a young child and this is the only one where I have felt a connection and changed my life in so many ways. Thank you Pastor Ron for being a wonderful pastor and telling your life stories to be able to relate. Life has its ups and downs but no matter how my week goes I look forward to Sundays and having my deep connection with my church family. God Bless."-M.C.
"My family is restored from drug addiction! He is giving me understanding to know the wisdom of who He has called me to be and helps me understand my mission knowing I will not fail."—Anon.
"I am well, whole, and healed. There is no lack in my household. I am healthy, wealthy and wise in Jesus’ name! God is showing me to keep standing against the enemy’s attacks; stand in the gap for family; press in and take hold of what Christ gave us."—Anon.
"Praise you Jesus for being with my children—for Your Spirit moving in their hearts!"—Anon.
"A lady from the church called in and wanted to share the life change that has taken place in her recently. Just a little over a month ago she was depressed and hiding away in her home to the point of being suicidal. She called a friend who prayed with her and encouraged her to come back to church. She did and she joined an all ladies e-Group. Her e-Group has changed her life. She said she now has friends who are warm, kind and compassionate to her. She cannot wait each week to go to her e-Group where they can be intimate with each other. One week her group laid hands on her and prayed...she was so blessed by this. She wanted to share how allowing herself to open up and connect with her e-Group friends has completely changed her life and her outlook. She even called in to the church today looking for a place to serve!"—R.K.
"For 30 days I suffered unbearable, excruciating & debilitating headaches. They could be somewhat relieved with medicine but only temporarily and they grew much worse each day. I prayed, my family prayed & they only got worse. I tried everything from herbal remedies to chiropractic & medical solutions. Nothing helped. Then one night, during an e-Group discussion on unanswered prayers, one of the elders reminded us that we must remember that while we pray for God’s blessings, there is also an enemy out there that must be fought at the same time. We must also pray for God to help us fight Satan, even as we pray for His healing. Her words resonated deep within me, as I realized that I was begging for God’s healing, but not His strength to help me fight. At the end of the session, the e-Group, knowing & believing that we are ‘better together’, prayed long & hard over me, binding the pain to leave my body. At home that night, my prayers were different. This time, I prayed not only for relief from the pain, but for God to help me get Satan out of my head, to just take his pain and get out. I was angry, not at God, but at Satan for inflicting this on me. I had had enough & knew that with everyone’s prayers & renewed strength from God, that this pain would be gone. And it was! I had not had a single headache since that night & am confident this battle has been won. God is so amazing! Not only did He take my pain away, He taught me a powerful lesson at the same time. I love His imagination & the way He teaches us how to come closer to Him. I thank God for our e-Group and all our discussions. I have gained a much better understanding about God, prayer, and what Pastor means when he says, ‘we are better TOGETHER!’"—J.C.
"Three weeks ago I had a mole removed, which was diagnosed as melanoma. I didn’t understand it at all, and I went to the altar last week. Two of the elders prayed for me, one of them was with no words and Holy Spirit led, in which I received knowledge, and then the other prayed after, declaring truth. I knew that like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that whether or not He healed me I would trust that whatever He was doing or allowing it would draw me closer to Him. Friday I went to the cancer clinic with three doctors and at the end they reviewed the slides and changed the pathology report—I still need more removed but it is probably not melanoma. Praise the Lord! Whatever God allows into our lives, it is an opportunity to let Him draw neared or closer to Him."-Anon.
"I must say, since becoming a Christian, my life has changed a lot. First of all, I met a man from here who led me to know Christ. I started coming to Life Change Church in April of 2011. As my faith grew, I noticed I didn't watch the movies I used to watch, and have changed the music I listen to, and pay attention to the words that are coming out of my mouth. I have also noticed a change in my co-workers when working with me. They seem more positive about the day. I had one co-worker say she was glad to work with me because it helped her control her foul language because I don't like hearing it. My relationship is also growing in the grace of God, and letting God guide the way. I just had the feeling on my heart to let you know God has changed my life."—L.C.
