Part 1
God works tirelessly to put a new thought into our life and the Bible is full of examples of where He has done this with others. If God wants a new behavior in us, He is going to give us a new thought. New thoughts become ideas, ideas becomes concepts, then decisions, then behaviors to live out. God’s thought, idea, decision and behavior is inclusive of us having the resurrection power that is talked about in Romans 6. Many of us don’t always want to accept that because we don’t always feel like conquerors, but it’s a truth we need to live out. Jesus told His disciples to face life the same way He did it—with the Holy Spirit. If we want to be led by the Holy Spirit, we need to wait for it.

Part 2
When we do life with God, we have purpose in life. When we do life without God, we have confusion. Many of us fall into the latter category because we get impatient with God and try to do things our own way. Wait for it! When we wait for it, our way of thinking is different than the world’s way of thinking. If we allow God into our heart—His thoughts, ideas, ways, etc.—our life will have a meaning that others can see. But we have to wait for it! Learn to let go of the things weighing you down, and hang on to the Creator.

I Can Leave a Legacy
Being a real father comes with a lot of responsibility, and unfortunately because that feeling is greater than their knowledge or gifting, many men leave their post as a father. The truth is, being a father IS greater than your knowledge or gifting. Thankfully, we have a God who doesn’t see it that way. Join us this weekend as we celebrate dads, look to the Bible for some Godly examples of what a father looks like, and get some guidelines to be even better fathers.
